KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang pegawai eksekutif mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Majistret di sini, atas tuduhan merakam video suri rumah sedang mandi tanpa berpakaian di sebuah kondominium, empat hari lalu.
Izwar Effendi Taswar, 32 tahun, didakwa mengikut Seksyen 506 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan penjara maksimum lima tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya sekali jika sabit kesalahan.
Dalam kejadian 13 Januari lalu, mangsa yang menyedari perbuatan seorang lelaki merakam aksinya sedang mandi bertindak memaklumkan kepada suaminya.
Laporan polis kemudian dibuat.
Berdasarkan rakaman kamera litar tertutup di kondominium itu, polis kemudian berjaya menjejaki dan menahan suspek pada malam kejadian.
KUALA LUMPUR: -- A company executive pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate's Court here Wednesday to a charge of insulting the modesty of a housewife four days ago by making a video recording of the woman bathing using a handphone.
Izwar Efendi Taswar, 32, is charged with making the video recording of the woman bathing in a bathroom of a condominium at Bandar Sri Permaisuri near here at 11.52am on Jan 11, 2013.
The charge, under Section 509 of the Penal Code, carries a maximum imprisonment for five years or fine or both, upon conviction.
Magistrate Saifulakmal Said set bail at RM5,000 in one surety and also ordered Izwar Efendi to not go near the victim or her family members. He was also ordered to surrender his passport to the court.
Deputy public prosecutor Tan Siew Ping prosecuted, while Izwar Efendi was unrepresented.
The court then set Feb 14 for mention.-- BERNAMA
